Alpinestars Pants

The Alpinestars company was founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo in Italy.  The company originally started out making hiking and ski boots but quickly moved focus to the more lucrative motorcycle boots and motor cross boots.  The company made a name for itself as one of the top brand of riding boots and by the 1990s had successfully branched out to manufacture all types of protective gear for motorcycle riders including gloves, jackets, pants and full leather racing suits.

The Alpinestars brand has worked hard to provide the consumer with a top quality product that can provide the necessary protection while on the track or on the way to work, as well as provide to rider with some style and colour options apart from just black leathers.

The range of motorcycle pants that Alpinestars has come in three categories, Leather, textile and gore-tex/Drystar.  By offering the consumer the choice of three categories of motorcycle pants Alpinestars is a popular choice from novice riders to the more experienced track riders who need maximum protection and performance from their safety gear.

Alpinestars leather motorcycle pants range are designed for both performance track riding as well as for the motorbike commuter who prefers to have top level protection when riding socially.  The leather pants are designed to fit ergonomically with panels that stretch to give the rider a better fit and make the pants more comfortable on longer rides.  In the leather motorbike pants range, Alpinestars has a selection of street wear pants such as the V-Twin and Bat Pants which are styled for everyday use and come in black and grey colours.  Alpinestars also have performance riding pants such as the Apex pants and track leather pants which have extra knee and hip protection and also zip together with the Alpinestars jackets to make a racing suit which provides extra safety to the wearer.

Textile and Gore-Tex motorcycle pants are also available from Alpinestars.  This range is suitable for the rider who goes out on the bike in any weather.  The range of textile and Gore-tex pants offers the rider pants such as the Stella Verve denim pants which look and feel like normal jeans but have been reinforced with Kevlar for maximum protection.  For the hotter summer months Alpinestars has a range of Airflow riding pants which are designed to keep the rider cool but still provide a high level of protection.

Alpinestars also has a range of waterproof pants which are constructed of Gore-Tex and are designed to keep the rider dry and cool in the wet.  These pants provide much of the protection offered by leather pants but can be worn in all weather conditions.
